Welcome to our Rainbow Room.
Our Rainbow Room is an SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) resourced provision for pupils across the island.
We have 8 full time places to support pupils with SEMH needs to access learning within a mainstream classroom.
Applications must be made to the IOW SEND department via a pupils EHCP review.
Once pupils are allocated a provision placement, they become onroll at Hunnyhill Primary School and like every other child are very much part of our school.
Our School Motto 'Proud to Belong' is at the heart of everything we do, for every child to feel they belong and proud of their achievements.
'Our son has been an umbrella child in this provision for three years now, since starting he now has a Autism Diagnosis and a specialist placement in the SEMH provision from September. With out a doubt it was the best decision we ever made to move to this provision. Our son is very well supported within this provision and has come on leaps and bounds since starting. We are very proud of the progress our son has made, inclusion matters for every child and as a school you have done this. The SEMH provision has changed our lives without it our son would probably not be in school.'
