Mr Evans has been working with Years 5 & 6 in PE on movement. The children worked in pairs to put together 3 moves on the floor.
To help the children understand how their routines looked and to allow them to analyse and to improve them, the routines were filmed in high-speed (120 fps). This allowed the routines to be analysed in slow-motion and allowed other children to suggest improvements on each move. Having the ability to see your routine in slow-motion, immediately after performing really helped the children to appreciate how their routines looked from an audiences perspective and areas of their performance that they could improve.
We will be adding more videos as the term continues. The video was shot at 120fps using a Canon SX230 HS digital camera.
