Alpha Club has been meeting since the beginning of term with a another group of intrepid technology experts putting the school’s hardware and software through its paces. Over the past few weeks we have been creating Stop Motion Animation, soundtracks with Soundation (www.soundation.com) and using Microsoft MovieMaker to bring all of this together with titles, credits and transitions.
This week the weather was so nice we took our club outside to create a panoramic view of the school playing fields, we even made our panorama feature some of the Alpha Club members. We have uploaded our timelapse video to SchoolTube and stitched our photo’s together using Microsoft Image Composite Editor. Microsoft ICE allows us to upload our panorama to Microsoft Photosynth, this allows us to create highlights in the image, geotag and align the image with the real world.
