SEMH Resourced Provision Pilot

Full Time Post

An exciting opportunity to play a key role in a pilot project to innovate and develop a resourced provision for pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs.

An experienced, resilient and enthusiastic person, you will need excellent knowledge to support pupils’ individual SEMH needs, including; regular review of Personal Plans and EHCPs; management of educational and therapeutic programmes; liaison with class teachers, SENCO and external agencies; and communication and support to parents and carers.

You must be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills for a small team of learning support assistants and provide advice and training to school staff. Responsible for producing reports as required by the Headteacher and governing body, you will also support the collection and analysis of pupil progress data to inform the development of the provision.

This is a pioneering and challenging post which will provide wide-ranging opportunities for ongoing professional development.
The role will ideally start in April 2018. The contract will initially be fixed term for the pilot phase, until August 2020.
