Kingfisher Assembly

Kingfisher’s treated us to an excellent assembly all about the seaside. The children were dressed appropriately in
summer beachside clothing, paying special attention to sunhats!

We had to guess seaside animals and objects from the clues the children gave in their PowerPoint presentation.
Kingfishers also performed a seaside poem where the sand got everywhere, which made us giggle.

There was also some fantastic safety advice for when we visit the seaside this summer. This included some excellent seaside warning signs the children had created.

Well done Kingfishers class!

Kingfisher Class Assembly

Kingfisher’s held their class assembly in the afternoon and what a fantastic number of adults came to see the super work Kingfisher Class has been doing.

The assembly started with a play and dance based on the story and now movie “Where The Wild Things Are”. There was definitely a Wild Thing Rumpus happening in the hall.

Kingfisher’s have also been learning about road safety and sung us song on remembering how to cross the road safely as well as information on road safety matters. The children had also drawn road signs which the rest of the school had to guess there meaning.

Well done Kingfisher class for a super assembly. Below we have a few pictures from the assembly.

Where the wild things are! Wild Things Rumpus What do those road signs mean?
